Hello my name is Gary

I'm the founder and owner of GW Autobodies.

My journey began in 1999 when I completed my trident at school with a local bodyshop where we predominantly did insurance repairs. I was then given a Saturday job up until leaving school in the year 2000, where I then started my apprenticeship.

Five years later and fully qualified as a vehicle body repair technician, I decided I would move on to different pastures.

For the next few years i bounced around different shops picking up different techniques and skills along the way.

This then lead me to a vehicle refurb centre where I first saw PDR (paintless dent repair) being preformed and I was amazed and instantly hooked, trying to ask as many questions and absorb as much information as possible.

In 2012 i bought a body shop along with a colleague I was working with at the time, I then sold him my share in 2014.

I then created GW Autobodies a small family run passionate business, it was within this business we introduced PDR to our large and expanding spectrum of skills.

We then decided in 2018 that PDR was where our passion lay and subsequently closed the paint and body side of the business and concentrated solely on the PDR side.

Which leads us to today where we are a very tight family run and passionate business, where we aim to provide the best quality repair and the most enjoyable experience.
